Chigosi was prime contractor for a major renovation of a 100,000+ SF facility for San Diego Community College.

Scope of work included survey, over-excavation, irrigation system installation with 3 “ water mainline soil import, top soil and sports turf installation, Construction specialties used on this project included landscaping and irrigation, carpentry, fence, concrete and masonry specialists, and heavy equipment operators (excavation, grading, drilling, trenching).

Chigosi served as prime contractor to provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to design and construct a 2000+ SF research laboratory for US Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research.

This was a design build project that included the design of foundation, high power 600 V 3-phase electrical underground distribution system, metal building, LED lighting system. Construction included foundation; erection of metal building; and install of insulation, doors and windows, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and lighting. Masonry work included concrete slab and driveway installation.  Earthwork included, clearing and grubbing, excavation, backfill, grading and compacting.

Construction of a Pole Barn Storage Building 

Chigosi served as prime contractor to provide all labor, material, and equipment necessary to design and construct retrofit for a maintenance building in Tracy, CA.

This design build project included preparation of drawings, PE stamped drawings, and metal fabrication, installation of metal beams, columns, and support system, and lead containing paint removal and disposal; temporary shoring system design and installation; replacement of exhaust fans, electrical system modification, and HVAC installation.

This project required contractors with Lead-Based Paint Renovation (LBPR) certification. Construction specialties used on this project included carpenters, metal fabricators and installers, electricians, welders, heavy equipment operators, framers, roofers, drywall specialists, painters, and concrete and masonry specialists. Completed all finish work to include, drywall, insulation, smooth finish, patch and paint to match existing, and electrical lighting and outlet reconnection and continuity testing.

Chigosi served as prime contractor for design and construction of a pole barn storage building and containment area for VA National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA.

Design, fabrication, and installation of concrete foundation and pre-engineered metal plate connected wood truss system. Fabrication included truss system, all metal walls and roof. Carpentry activities included framing, metal walls and roofing installation. Masonry work included concrete slab and driveway, installation of concrete blocks, and bollards. Earthwork included, clearing and grubbing, excavation and backfill, and grading and compacting.

Construction specialties used on this project included carpentry, metal fabricators and framers, concrete and masonry specialists, painters, and heavy equipment operators (excavation and backfill and heavy forklift).

 

Chigosi was prime contractor for the construction of a children’s play facility for County of San Diego Parks and Recreation. This project is located at the Tijuana River Valley Regional Sports Complex in San Diego, CA. The scope of work involved the construction of six different play pods that educate children and adults alike on nature’s wonders.
